WHY THERAPY?

If you are facing a life, relationship, or work issue, generally therapy is a good option. Therapy is also particularly helpful if you know you have a specific mental health concern. 

Everyone can struggle though, right? How do you know when it's time to come in? Honestly, if you feel you are in a lot of pain or you find yourself upset for longer than a couple of days, it's probably time.

OKAY, BUT WHY RELATIONSHIP-ORIENTED THERAPY? WHY YOU?

When you work with me, even if you're coming in for a life or work or mental health concern, I will ALWAYS look at your relationships and social support as well. I see the world throught relationships.

I believe humans are social beings. When things are not connecting for us, whether it be romantic or socially, we stop functioning at our best levels. This is when it starts to bleed into other aspects of our lives.

Think about the last time you had a really bad fight with a partner or family member. Try to remember how you felt right after.

Devastated? Frustrated? Angry?

Now, think about going to work or trying to perform really well? It may feel impossible, right? To me, this is where things began for you. And that's just ONE instance. Imagine if you are fighting several times a week or with several people?

PROBLEMS OR SYMPTOMS?

I want to make sure we are treating the deeper problems and not just the symptoms. It may be true you first began looking for help because you have trouble sleeping or feel blah all the time recently.
